At Len Pro Building we will guide you from concept to completion…
We have a very structured process to ensure your home is delivered in a timely manner.
We place large emphasis on communication to ensure that you will be well informed throughout the entire design and building process.

Step 1. Initial Contact

Potential client makes contact with Len Pro Building via website, email, phone or social media. Once we have received this enquiry, we will reach out to you via email and phone to gather further information.

We will ask about you and your living situation, partners, families and even pets! How you use your home, and the current flow of your home and living style. You can expect questions about your vision, ideas, style and lifestyle. This will help us better determine your situation and guide our plan forward.

Step 2. Meet & Greet

This is an opportunity to meet with Lance, the Managing Director of Len Pro Building. During this consultation you will walk through your existing home or new block of land to discuss design requirements, block details, wish list items and budget forecast. At the end this process, we will have a clear design and vision set out for your proposed home.

Step 3. Concept Drawings

You will have a consultation with our preferred architect or work with your choice of architect to discuss your design requirements. Using the information discussed, the designer will commence drawing and provide the concept plan for your new home. Throughout this process you will be supported by Lance with feedback and suggestions on your plan from a professional and practical builder’s perspective.

Step 4. Initial Estimate

This is the first stage of your formal quoting process. At this time, you will review your floor plans and make any desired amendments. Len Pro works towards providing a detailed and accurate estimate for you to review. Within this process Lance liaises with subcontractors who will provide the additional trades to create your home and reach out to suppliers to determine suitable products. Len Pro are committed to providing both high quality workmanship and cost-effective solutions for construction. The initial estimate will be provided via our online project management system and presented at a meeting with Lance to go over detail of estimate. The final step in this stage of construction is client acceptance of the initial estimate.

Step 5. Preliminary Building Agreement

Len Pro Building will issue a Preliminary Building Agreement to signify the commencement of your project. This includes finalised architectural drawings and associated documentation required for Council submission such as BASIX, engineering design and bush fire reports. By this stage we will have a greater understanding of what is included in your build and will provide a fixed price Tender Proposal to build your new home.

Step 6. Contract & Deposit

Upon agreement of the final Construction Drawings and Tender price, we will prepare the Home Building Contract and other required documents. A meeting will be arranged with Lance to sign the contract and allow an opportunity task any questions about the process ahead. The Contract will detail inclusions for the build and outline all progress payments. Your Plans will be lodged to Council at this time (if they haven’t been submitted prior).

Step 7. Selections

The fun part! At this stage you will receive full access to your client portal on our project management system. During this stage you will meet with a colour consultant as well as attend showroom consultations with preferred trades and suppliers.  If required, Len Pro Building can refer you to an Interior Designer to assist with your overall selections.

Step 8. Construction Phase

Once construction commences, you will have regular updates and site meetings with Lance. You will have full access to our online project management system for all job information during construction as well as attending critical stage inspections of your home on a regular basis.

Step 9. Walk Through & Handover

You will have a comprehensive walkthrough prior to handover. We will liaise with Council to seek an occupation certificate for your new home and prepare all job specific documentation for your future records. You will have a personal meeting with Lance to go through the operation of all internal and external appliances and fixtures. And finally, the moment you’ve waited for, we will hand over the keys and present your beautiful new home to you.

Step 10. Ongoing Support

After the completion of your build we will be in regular communication to ensure you are happy with your new home. We provide all clients a 150-day care period which includes access to trades and suppliers to ensure your home is maintained well above your expected level. Further to this you will receive a six-year structural warranty on your new home as outlined in your Contract. Len Pro also offers a 30-day post construction inspection to address any issues.
