Following what has been a challenging time for the building industry, Len Pro Building were honoured to be named a WINNER at the 2025 HIA Hunter Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards this month.

Judged by industry professionals, the awards acknowledge the talent of designers, builders, suppliers, and manufacturers who plan and construct quality new homes, townhouses, renovations, kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor projects.

On Saturday 18^th October we were announced as winners of the ‘Custom Built Home – $2 million – $2.45 million’ category and finalists in a new category ‘People’s Choice Home’, for our recent build located in the picturesque Pokolbin. We wanted to celebrate with some of the people who helped make this possible and attended the awards with our staff and architect of the build Karen Shearer from Sheer Designs.

A few reasons why this build is such a standout:

• The client’s brief for this home was clear: to create a contemporary country residence that seamlessly connected to the surrounding landscape and functioned beautifully with their modern lifestyle. The design aimed to blend comfort, style, and functionality, creating a sanctuary that fostered relaxation while embracing the beauty of the outdoors.
• At the heart of the design is a striking soaring skillion roof, which not only adds a modern flair but also allows for uninterrupted views of the countryside. This architectural feature ensures that the living spaces are bathed in natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• A critical part of the construction involved the installation of large sections of structural steel before commencing with the timber frame. Despite site conditions and access posing challenges, the accurate assembly of the structural steel simplified the construction process considerably. This design integrated seamlessly with the overall project, ensuring both strength and aesthetic appeal.
